Ashridge House completely blew me away when I visited for this December winter wedding. From the moment you pull off the main road and begin driving down the long estate trail. You know it’s going to be something special. So, if you’re looking to have a wedding at Ashridge House then hopefully this helps to swing you in that direction.
The website description says it all:
//Ashridge House is a spectacular, award-winning wedding venue in leafy Hertfordshire, only 30 miles from London and surrounded by 190 acres of beautiful gardens. With grand, turreted façades, historic gardens and a choice of elegant heritage reception rooms, Ashridge House is a unique backdrop for one of the most memorable days of your life.//
Above all, one of my favourite features about the venue was the choice of rooms available. Some of them were semi-secret hideaway rooms that you almost happened to stumble upon accidentally! Consequently, it added a magical touch to a venue that already took your breath away. Hannah and Flori used one of these smaller hideaways to create some couple portraits and they were just the cutest.
Ashridge House has numerous 5-star reviews on Hitched.co.uk and has been described as “a dream come true.”
I can tell you Ashridge House will not disappoint if you’re considering getting married or having a winter wedding there! Head over to Jerica and Sam’s day here for more Ashridge House inspiration. This is an example of another Ashridge House winter wedding that I was over the moon to capture.
