I have wanted to photograph a wedding at Ashridge House for so long and do you blame me?! Once home to Henry VIII and his daughter Elizabeth I which is pretty cool. Ashridge House boasts 190 acres of beautiful gardens and a large choice of elegant reception rooms. 9 in total! With such a vast range of backdrops you are spoilt for choice. So many location choices for your ceremony and where to have your wedding portraits taken.
Ashridge house is definitely on the list for incredible country house wedding venues. Located just over an hour outside of London, it provides a complete contrast and is the perfect location for your dream elegant countryside wedding.
The wedding was styled by the incredible Rebecca Marie Weddings and boy did she pull out all the stops for this beautiful day at Ashridge House. Her beautiful colour palettes absolutely blow me away every time we work together and she has such lovely attention to detail which make my work as a wedding photographer very easy! Dreamy florals by Peony and Thistle Design which I could have photographed on their own all day. It was my first time shooting a wedding at Ashridge House and I look forward to returning again soon.
