Musical Wedding Parade

Here’s a little snippet of the most wonderful summer musical wedding parade in the Herefordshire countryside, so hopefully you can enjoy it nearly as much as I did.

Letty and Ed are two professional musicians, so of course their day was planned around this! They created a day that was unique to them and included all their fantastic musician friends and colleagues. It was an absolute joy to witness and a day I will remember for years to come.

Hellens Manor

I’ve taken some of the description from the Hellens Manor website so you can get a feel for what this beautiful venue is like:

“Hellens is a beautiful historic manor house in Much Marcle, Herefordshire. It is a totally unique and exclusive venue for a tailor-made wedding in an idyllic setting. It has beautiful gardens, acres of wildflower meadows, ancient woodland, apple orchards, a labyrinth and a dovecote. You won’t find a lovelier venue for your wedding ceremony and reception! You can choose between two fabulous venues for civil ceremonies. The oak-panelled Music Room in the Manor House seats 50 guests, whereas there is plenty of room for up to 100 guests in the Great Barn. With its beams and vaulted ceiling, the Great Barn is just right for you to add your personal touch, so your wedding can be as individual as you are. The beautifully renovated Georgian Stables are ideal for your overnight stay. We can provide the perfect venue and professional planning so that all you need to bring is your imagination!”

Letty & Ed

Hellens Manor in Herefordshire was chosen due to its musical connections and its Music Room was perfect for their intimate ceremony. We were treated to performances by the string quartet and pianist throughout this part of the day. The grounds of Hellens were wonderful for a wedding and the musical parade to the meadow as the sun went down was so happy and joyful and magical. After the parade, we were treated to a jazz trio and then Ed’s own band performing in the reception. The wonderful flowers and crowns were created by The Ledbury Flower Farmer and complimented this countryside wedding so nicely. Letty’s lovely sister made their cake and Letty wore a beautiful vintage gown. Their day radiated joy and happiness from start to finish.
