Positano Italy Wedding | Natalie & Rich

Natalie and Rich celebrated their wedding in Positano Italy, the most intimate day and the most loveable couple.

There’s nothing I enjoy more than blogging the incredible stories I get to witness. Earlier this year I was contacted by Natalie to see if I was available on their date to capture an intimate elopement for her and her other half Rich. Luckily I was and of course jumped at the chance!

Positano, Italy

I’d never visited Positano before but had been drawn to the various photos that I’d seen popping up on social media. And, spoiler alert, it is as beautiful and breathtaking as it looks online. Oh and the food is of course absolutely delicious (Italian food all the way).

Whenever I capture a wedding in a new location then I like to arrive a day earlier to explore and scout out great locations for photos on the day. I spent a day wandering the streets of Positano and checking out great Italy wedding photo spots for them. Positano is spoilt for a vast amount of incredible restaurants and cute little boutiques. The colourful buildings line the coastline perfectly and it turns out that around every corner is another photo opportunity. Keen to get your steps in? Positano is the place for you! There were cute alleyways with long stepped paths everywhere so that Italian food definitely gets walked off!

Wedding

Natalie and Rich travelled from the UK to Positano for their wedding in Italy. Like other couples, they were supposed to get married in 2020 but had to reschedule a couple of times. Instead of invited a wedding party along this time, they decided to celebrate with just the two of them in Italy. On their return to the UK they would be having a party to tell everyone and celebrate together there. They said their vows at Positano Town Hall overlooking the coast. The team there were just wonderful. We then spent the rest of the afternoon exploring Positano and ending at their hotel in Sorrento with a bottle of bubbles. I hope you enjoy looking at their story. A beautiful couple who I felt very lucky to celebrate with.

Eloping
