Lake District Elopement

Thinking about an elopement in the Lake District? Hopefully this helps with a wee bit of inspiration!

I’m still beaming about how incredible this shoot was back in April. I cannot thank Tamara, Elliot and Lucy (To a Mountain Daisy) enough for bringing my vision to life. I wanted to provide inspiration for couples considering an elopement in the UK, and brides who might want to opt for something other than white. Although it wasn’t a real elopement, with Tamara and Elliot being a real and in love couple, it very much felt like it could have been. We laughed, we shared stories, we embraced the cold, we got our steps in and we got to witness some of the most spectacular views the UK has to offer.

Elopement

What is an elopement? It certainly isn’t running off to Gretna Green anymore like people of a slightly older generation may think! It’s about creating a day that’s right for you. Whether that means just the two of you or if you’d like a handful of your nearest and dearest there too.
